White Cube launches a trio of new solo presentations in West Palm Beach.

Al Held (1928−2005)
A pioneer of ‘hard-edge’ abstraction, American painter Held created works of great complexity during his 50-year career. This presentation of his ‘Luminous Construct’ paintings, produced from the mid-1980s towards the end of his life, assert his position as a pioneer who consistently challenged the orthodoxies of Modernism.

Sarah Morris (b. 1967)
Since the mid 1990s, American artist Morris has produced a large body of work spanning various mediums which reflect her interest in network, typologies, architecture and the city. On display are works from her ongoing ‘Sound Graph’ series where she continued to draw on the language of American abstraction, minimalism and pop art while using forms derived from the audio recordings of her own films as the starting point.

Takis (1925–2019)
This selection of historically key works, including his best-known ‘Signals’ and ‘Magnetic Reliefs’, highlight how Takis took art into realms previously belonging to physicists and engineers.
